North: In the north, much lives. The record rains paint rocky valleys a foreign color green. Beautiful beasts and hidden predators share a grass swept plateau. Spiders spin suncatchers. Balding tourists soak in impossible pools. Cool cars climb mountains.

The Haunted South / The Living North
South: In the south, little survives. It is the inherent struggle to claw for life in the harsh land that makes the dead and living remnants swollen with character. Descendants of war horses from a far off country now live wild, banding in the desert. A diamond mine is swallowed back by the ageless sands. A port of infiltration for the claim of a country and the road to war holds to a rocky bay. A worker from Appleton Wisconsin, Nordamerika, lies far from home in a gravel road plot, succumbing to the labor of building a century old railroad. The carved layers of earth's story are revealed in the world's second largest canyon.
